The Bloomsbury Early Childhood Advisory Council
The Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is a collective of community stakeholders dedicated to the education and well-being of children from preschool to grade three. This council is organized by the school district in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:13A-1.2.
In compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:13A-4.6, the district board of education is mandated to create an ECAC focused on children from preschool through grade three. This council is responsible for evaluating the implementation of high-quality preschool programs, providing advisory assistance to the local school district’s preschool initiatives, and facilitating the transition of children as they progress from preschool through grade three
Our Mission
The mission of the Bloomsbury School District Early Childhood Advisory Council (BSD ECAC) is to support the children and families within Bloomsbury by promoting and maintaining statewide cooperation, thereby ensuring the success of every child.
A primary duty of BSD ECAC is to consistently collect feedback from families of preschool students to ensure the program effectively addresses their needs. The insights gained from the data gathered through these ongoing surveys are presented to district and program administrators for integration into program execution. This initiative is facilitated by the Needs Assessment Committee.
Our Vision
The objective of the Bloomsbury School District Childhood Advisory Council is to guarantee that every child has access to a high-quality education by fostering meaningful interactions and collaborations among schools, families, and community stakeholders.
