The mission of the Bloomsbury Elementary School Nurse is to help students reach their maximum academic potential through education and interventions that facilitate student health and wellness.
A broad spectrum of health services are provided to students:
- to identify health deficiencies and needs of pupils
- to remediate barriers to learning
- to provide health education and health counseling for pupils and parents
- to assist pupils in becoming increasingly responsible for their own health
