Camp Musky Registration Now Open

Summer Programs at the Musconetcong Watershed Association

Camp Musky: Registration is now open for the Musconetcong Watershed Association’s (MWA) Camp Musky, an educational and fun day camp for kids ages 5 – 12+ years old. We offer an outdoor learning experience, and hands-on, river-based programs. Our primary mission is education and awareness. We believe that a community that is fully aware of the importance and vulnerability of its natural resources is a community that will actively support efforts to ensure environmental quality. Campers will explore the beautiful MWA River Resource Center, and adjoining, preserved 30 acres of meadow, woods and wetlands. We will hold an open house at our River Resource Center (10 Maple Ave. Asbury, 08802) on Wednesday May 10. Walk in anytime between 6:30-8:00 pm, to register or pick up more information and forms. We will be offering free “mini’ Nature Walks all evening between those times. More information and forms can be found online at, by calling 908-537-7060 or email

Ages 7-9: “Trailblazers” – July 17-21, Full Day (9am- 4pm)

MEET THE RIVER: Let the Musconetcong Watershed Association introduce your family to the Musconetcong River. This program allows children to come down to the river’s edge and splash around in the water. We’ll turn over some rocks and maybe we’ll be lucky enough to catch a frog! This program is great for children in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Participants need to wear water shoes, old sneakers or sandals with a strap on back, no bare feet or flip flops please! Parents must be present but do not need to get wet – there will be plenty of volunteers on hand. We will not be swimming, just getting our feet wet. Advance registration is required. For more information or to register please contact Kyle Richter: 908-537-7060 or email
